Dogwood Duathlon RegistrationIt is truly with a sad heart that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Dogwood Duathlon due to COVID-19.
Please review all of the information below before completing your online registration. A link to the online registration form is at the bottom of this page. Packet Pick-up All participants are strongly encouraged to pick up their race packets on the day before the race to avoid lines on race morning. Packet pick-up will be held at: - Forest Lakes South Club House - Saturday, May 30 @ 6:00-7:00 pm Entry Fees $25 through April 30 $30 after April 30 NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION! NOTE: Fees above do not include the fee for a USA Triathlon youth membership ($10), which all participants are required to have. If participant is already a USAT member, this fee is not required, and the participant’s USAT member # and expiration date must be provided on the registration form. If you signed up for an annual membership last year, it may still be valid. A limited number of scholarships are available. Please email the race director with your request. Parking After dropping off, park only at Hollymead & Sutherland schools – NO PARKING IN NEIGHBORHOODS. On the morning of the duathlon, volunteers will direct you to parking. To find location in maps, use "1650 Ashwood Blvd, Charlottesville, VA". Duathlon Rules • NO drafting is allowed on the bike. • NO interfering with other competitors. • NO running is permitted in the transition areas. • Helmets MUST be worn at all times on the bike and must be ANSI and/or Snell approved. • Participant must have parent or guardian on site during the event. Inclement Weather Policy The race director reserves the right to postpone, alter or cancel portions or all of the race as deemed necessary for safety at the race director’s sole discretion.
